I don’t often call myself a Sheboygan family photographer these days—my business is mostly centered around weddings. But when a friend asks for family photos in the gorgeous fall colors, you can absolutely call me a Sheboygan family photographer!

Emily and Kevin’s sweet family met me at Kohler Andrae State Park for a cozy (and chilly) autumn session. The golden leaves, sandy dunes, and lake views made for the perfect backdrop, but don’t let the sunshine fool you—it was cold! That crisp Wisconsin fall air had us all bundled up, with noses turning pink and fingers tucking into pockets for warmth. But the love this family shares shined through, no matter the temperature.

What stood out the most during this session was how much joy and connection this family has. The way Emily and Kevin adore their little one is so heartwarming—so many snuggles, giggles, and silly moments filled our time together. And of course, their 2-year-old was completely unfazed by the cold! He had enough energy to keep himself (and the rest of us) moving, running through the sand and crunching through the leaves with a big grin.

Emily, Kevin, and family, I absolutely loved spending time with you! Your love for each other is so evident in every little interaction, and your little guy’s joy is completely contagious. I hope you’re staying warm while scrolling through these previews—I can’t wait to share the rest with you!
