Lakeside Engagement Session || Kohler Andrae State Park || Hannah & Tyler

Hannah and Tyler’s Kohler-Andrae State Park lakeside engagement session was a perfect mix of silly and romantic! This beautiful park, with its sweeping dunes, tall grasses, and serene natural beauty, made the perfect backdrop for their love story. We explored the open fields and soft, sandy trails, capturing everything from joyful laughter to sweet, quiet moments.

Before the session, Hannah told me she was nervous about being in front of the camera, which is something I hear all the time from my couples. But as soon as we got started, she and Tyler settled right in, and their natural chemistry took over. It was easy! The way these two make each other laugh is absolutely contagious, and I could see right away how much fun they have together. Even Tyler, who admitted he doesn’t normally like having his picture taken, was totally in the moment—and by the end, he said he had a lot of fun! That’s always my goal: to make engagement sessions feel less like a photo shoot and more like a fun date night in a gorgeous setting.

One of my favorite moments from the lakeside engagement session was when Hannah and Tyler lay down in the tall grass, completely relaxed and enjoying the quiet together. It was such a beautiful, intimate snapshot of who they are as a couple—playful, lighthearted, and full of love.

Hannah and Tyler, I know you guys were nervous going into this, but you knocked it out of the park, my friends! You trusted the process, embraced the experience, and it totally paid off. It was so much fun hanging out with you both, and I cannot wait for your big day next year!
