Aaron doesn’t hide how he feels. Not about his excitement on the wedding day. Not about his adorable, shy nephew/ring bearer who was too scared to come down the aisle until Aaron held out his arms. And certainly not about Katie. When Katie made her appearance at the top of the stairs of the beautiful Barn at the Bog, Aaron’s love for her was all over his face.

The forecast was calling for pouring rain between noon and 10pm on Katie and Aaron’s wedding day. We came prepared with umbrellas, towels, and jackets to protect our cameras, and Katie and Aaron were ready to get a little rained on if they need to to get the shot. But that didn’t happen. We felt a few drops at a park a few miles from the venue, but the rain didn’t come until we were hopping off of our golf carts after getting ALL of the portraits for the day. The downpour stopped immediately after dinner, leaving glowy, golden skies just asking for a few more photos. None of us could believe the perfect timing!

Katie and Aaron, it was a joy to be a part of your special day and to witness your spectacular, romance-novel-worthy love. Your details gorgeous and your portraits beautiful, but the moments that blew me away just kept on coming. The “first touch” before the ceremony, Katie coming down the aisle, your incredibly special special dances, and so many more moments left me smiling ear to ear and sometimes close to tears. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day! You both deserve all the happiness ahead of you!
