Kohler Andrae State Park Engagement Session || Holly & Jake || Beach Engagement Session

Holly and Jake’s Kohler Andrae State Park engagement session was chillier than we expected! Despite planning their session for the end of April, we found ourselves on a beautiful, sunny beach in 35 degree weather. You’d never know from these photos! Their story unfolded in photographs that defied the cold and captured the essence of a summer-like romance.

There are two things I know about these two. The first is that Jake is so in love with Holly. The second is that Holly is so in love with Jake. Okay – I might know a little more about them than that, but those two things are glaringly obvious to anyone who spends three and a half seconds with them.

And that love shined through their engagement photos despite the cold!

Holly really wanted her photos to feel like summer on a Wisconsin beach – something both she and Jake loved to enjoy together. So with numb, bare feet, a courageous spirit, and a ton of moxie, Holly and Jake waded into the icy waters of Lake Michigan, creating a series of playful and summery moments that defied the weather.
