Bella and Danny wanted their Black Swan Riverwalk wedding to feel like a big party with all their favorite people. In their everyday lives, these two have big jobs. So on the most romantic day of their lives, they wanted to feel connected, joyful, and carefree. Every part of the day included moments to connect, to play, and to party. We fit a lot into their photography time!
Starting at a private residence near Old St. Mary Parish – the ceremony location – everyone was getting ready in the same location. We had to sneak around to make sure Danny didn’t see Bella until she was walking down the aisle! The bridesmaids and parents weren’t the only ones who got to see her before the groom though. Bella planned a first look with her three brothers, who of course couldn’t take it too seriously. You’ll see!
Danny was absolutely beaming as we got ready for the ceremony, but it was nothing compared to the moment the doors opened to reveal Bella on her dad’s arm. A traditional Catholic ceremony made it official! After the couple sealed it with a kiss, they exited the church to find a little red getaway car waiting for them. Surprise!
The next few hours included lively family photos, all of their stunning portraits, a party boat ride, and a fun and relaxed session at Pere Marquette Park. We had SO much fun even before rolling into cocktail entrance, where Bella and Danny made their grand entrance from the boat.
After that, the reception was the perfect mix of sweet and salty, from a traditional Italian toast from Bella’s grandfather to a wild party on the dance floor. I can’t wait for you to enjoy this gallery of favorites from Bella and Danny’s Black Swan Riverwalk wedding.
