Hannah and Logan’s intimate fall wedding at The Woodfire Lodge in Brillion, Wisconsin, was the perfect celebration of early autumn in Wisconsin. With the rich colors of early October foliage surrounding them, this fall wedding in Wisconsin was a dream come true. The wedding party was small yet filled with personality, love, and unwavering support. And you know I love a mixed party, so seeing three bridesmaids dressed in fiery orange and one groomsman in charcoal gray was right up my alley! Everything matched the vibrant autumn landscape, blending seamlessly with the bright, colorful treetops and the deep reds and greens of the sorghum field.
Despite the natural beauty and love in the air, the day wasn’t without its challenges. In fact, this day seemed determined to derail! Not 5 minutes into photographing their day, my assistant and I noticed that the seamstress didn’t finish hemming Hannah’s dress. But with quick thinking – and fantastic planning on Hannah’s mom’s part – the bridesmaids and I gathered around the dress, using double-sided tape to create a temporary hem so Hannah could walk down the aisle without worry. The moment felt like something straight out of a wedding movie: a tiny disaster averted by teamwork and love.
Throughout all the minor bumps in the day, one thing remained constant: Hannah and Logan wouldn’t let this day be anything but magical. Nothing seemed to get to them. Every time something went wrong, Logan would just look at Hannah with the purest adoration and scoop her into a warm hug. His joy was infectious, and Hannah, equally as in love, couldn’t stop smiling. In the end, nothing could overshadow the fact that they got to marry each other. It’s rare to see that level of warmth on a chilly autumn day.
I hope you deeply enjoy these photographs from Hannah & Logan’s autumn wedding in Wisconsin!
