Audra and Steve’s Schlitz Audubon Nature Center wedding photos just scream elegance. Their winter wedding in Bayside, WI, was a beautiful celebration that blended elegance with nature. Their wedding party included four bridesmaids and four groomsmen. The bridesmaids wore stunning deep green dresses, which perfectly matched the green accents in Steve’s blue and green tartan suit jacket. The groomsmen complemented the look. They wore classic black suits and tartan bowties that tied the whole wedding party’s attire together seamlessly.

Although it was a chilly December day, there was no snow on the ground, allowing us to make the most of the stunning landscape. We even hopped on a golf cart to take some unique winter wedding photos. Taking photos on the beach by Lake Michigan is a rare opportunity for December. It was such a joy to capture the love between Audra and Steve! With the natural beauty of the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center as their backdrop, we captured the quiet that winter brings.

A fun personal twist to the whole experience is that Audra, Steve, and I all attended Michigan Tech University at the same time, but we never crossed paths. Despite the number of MTU alumni at their wedding, I only recognized one person!

One of the most unique aspects of their wedding was the cocktail hour, where guests had the opportunity to see rescued birds up close. From a majestic bald eagle to a sweet one-eyed owl, the birds stole the show – at least until Audra and Steve arrived. While guests couldn’t touch them, they loved snapping photos with these incredible creatures.

As the sun set early, the ceremony took place in the dark, adding a cozy and intimate atmosphere to their unforgettable day. Enjoy these Schlitz Audubon Nature Center wedding photos!
