Julia and Wes’s Rib River wedding was exactly the kind of wedding I dream of as a photographer. Firstly, you know those couples that just make everyone around them feel safe, welcome, and loved? Julia and Wes are that couple. Second, you know those weddings that are somehow effortlessly elegant and special, but still have that comfortable and casual vibe? This was that wedding. Furthermore, this wedding was absolutely stunning!

Nestled amidst the rustic charm of Marathon City, Wisconsin, Rib River offered a beautiful backdrop for Julia and Wes’s wedding. Imagine a tranquil oasis where lush greenery meets blue sky, creating a scene straight out of a country song.

As you step onto the grounds, you’ll fine a blend of natural beauty and rustic elegance, with towering trees that provide shade and that perfect glowy sunlight. As a result, you’re enveloped in a sense of serenity, the gentle rustle of leaves and the soft murmur of the river weaving a soothing melody.

The ceremony was deeply personal, with special tributes paid to each of their parents. Tears flowed freely on that sun-streaked lawn as these two love birds shared heartfelt gratitude for the people who raised them. Furthermore, as Julia and Wes exchanged vows against the breathtaking backdrop, I felt like I knew them 100 times better just by the way they spoke about their parents.
