Angela and Bret’s Door County engagement session was extra perfect, because we did it where they got engaged! These two lovebirds have such a sweet love story, and I was so excited to capture this special time in their lives. They actually got engaged in Door County, so it only made sense to return to the same meaningful spot for their engagement photos. And let me tell you, this location did not disappoint! The gorgeous shoreline, the peaceful water, and the lush greenery made for the dreamiest setting.
Even though we had to work around some summer crowds, these two made the session feel like it was just the two of them, completely lost in the moment together. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the way they laughed, embraced, and enjoyed every second made my job so easy! Bret had no problem twirling Angela around on the rocky shore or pulling her in close for the sweetest candid moments. And can we talk about that ring?! Absolute perfection!
I also loved capturing the little details—the way they held hands, the soft wind in the beach grass, and the waves gently rolling onto shore. These small touches help tell the full story of their Door County engagement session and make the images even more special.
Angela and Bret, you two were a joy to be around from the moment we met. Your love for each other shines so brightly, and I can already tell your wedding day is going to be just as magical. I cannot wait to celebrate with you!
