Why? Why are people so eager to learn about the face behind what they’re thinking about buying?
If you’ve been in business longer than 2 seconds, you’ve probably heard someone talk about the “know, like, trust” factor. Before they buy, clients need to know you exist. Then they need to like you. Then they need to trust you.
That didn’t come out of thin air. It’s just a description of consumer behavior, not some magic strategy that someone came up with.
If they’re on your home page, they now know you exist, and if they’re going to go deeper, they need to LIKE YOU. That’s where the about page comes in.
