Wisconsin Engagement Session || Ali & Ingmar || Grafton Engagement Session

May 7, 2024

Ali and Ingmar’s Wisconsin engagement session was really more like an anniversary session – they’re already married! These two eloped in California in the aftermath of COVID, and they were finally planning the party to celebrate at Ali’s mom’s home in Wisconsin. But a couple days before their big vow renewal, the three of us got together for their “engagement” session.

And oh my goodness – did we have a blast! First of all, Ingmar reminds me so much of my younger brother, I was doing double takes all weekend. Maybe that’s why I felt instantly at ease with them – or maybe they’re just those people. Secondly, their relationship tumbled right out of a romance film. We started the session snuggled up on the couch, but it wasn’t long before the two of them were playing piano together and serenading the camera – and each other – with Falling Slowly by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová.

It was such a true honor to peek at a day in the life of Ali and Ingmar at their Wisconsin engagement session. I hope you enjoy these favorites! And I highly recommend listening to the song above while you scroll.
